Different states recognize doulas through a variety of pathways that open doors to state approval, doula provider enrollment, and Medicaid reimbursement for doula services. Some states offer formal certification, while others utilize registries or Medicaid provider enrollment systems.
Born Again Academy is committed to aligning our training and certification with each state’s requirements so that our graduates are eligible for recognition, approval, or provider enrollment wherever possible. We want to make sure our doulas are Medicaid-ready and can earn income right away through Medicaid reimbursement. Please note that each state has different requirements, so check your state below to find out how BAA meets them.
